Application and Operation
The CAP 80 Plastic Strip Capping Machine is designed by Temelsan to protect finished band saw blades during handling, storage, and transport. It efficiently applies plastic protective strip onto blades ranging from 27 mm (1″) up to 80 mm (3″) in width and 0.90 mm to 1.60 mm in thickness.

Available Options
- CAP 80 – P (Industrial Inkjet Printer Option): Pre-installed industrial inkjet marking system allowing operators to imprint company logos, product codes, batch numbers, QR codes, and barcodes directly onto the strip during capping with a single button press.
- CAP 80 – A (Automatic Capping & Feeding System): Full cycle automation eliminating manual strip feeding. Operators place the loop and press start; the machine automatically feeds the strip, advances the blade, senses completion, automatically cuts the strip to exact blade length, and stops.
- Strip Roller Holder: Machine-mounted heavy-duty holder for plastic capping strip rolls.
Construction and Components
Engineered for continuous industrial duty using carburized and tempered steels, high-grade aluminium, and premium international components including Festo pneumatics, Schneider electronics, and Yılmaz Redüktör gear drives.
